Porsche introduced a 911 Cabriolet concept car at the Frankfurt Motor Show Germany. The car was a true convertible, featuring four-wheel drive, although this was eventually dropped in the production version. In late 1982 the first 911 Cabriolet was debuted, as a 1983 model. This was Porsche’s first cabriolet since the 356 of the mid-1960s.
